Product–place
Record the name, product, area and participating producers.
The national directory helps Australian producers make distinctive product–place relationships visible and build the evidence needed for collective protection.

Each entry brings together the product, place, producer group or lead body, evidence base and current stage of development. It gives producers a practical view of what is already strong and what must be developed next.
UPIs and product records can contribute evidence of maker identity, production and origin. Producer groups can then build the collective governance, Product Specification, controls and legal pathway required for geographical indication protection.
