Practitioners
Makers, tradespeople, designers, technicians, Craft Conservators, repairers, craft and cultural practitioners and specialist producers.
The Australian Crafts Alliance connects craftsmanship, culture and creative industries with research, conservation, infrastructure, manufacturing, provenance and markets.

The Australian Craft and Provenance Sector is a trade, industry, workforce and living-heritage sector constituted through Craft Practitioners, enterprises, workshops, institutions, materials, processes, products, markets and the transmission relationships that sustain them.
The field crosses traditional portfolio boundaries. It includes cultural heritage and contemporary design, trades and creative industries, fashion and textiles, studio practice and industrial production, regional knowledge and advanced research.
ACA connects these parts without collapsing their differences: practitioner recognition, craftsmanship assessment, product identity, provenance and geographical origin remain distinct claims with distinct evidence.
Makers, tradespeople, designers, technicians, Craft Conservators, repairers, craft and cultural practitioners and specialist producers.
Studios, guilds, workshops, mills, production sites, teaching organisations and Centres for Craftsmanship.
Materials, tools, equipment, processing, testing, records, standards, markets and routes to trade.
Learned, embodied, technical, cultural and place-based knowledge that must remain in active use.
ACA is an independent, industry-led alliance advancing Australian crafts, trades and design as a connected sector of skilled work, enterprise, manufacturing and living heritage.
Its work brings together practitioners, enterprises, educators, researchers and industry partners to strengthen skills transmission, provenance and productive capability.
